CUISINE &

WINES

The Grünwalderhof convinces not only with its breath-taking views and landscapes, but also with its hearty and traditional cuisine. Some dishes are available seasonally or market-depending. On our daily menu we offer changing dishes, which are not available on our standard menu. The most popular dishes are beef broth with “Fritatten” (strips of herb pancakes) or “Kaspressknödel” (pressed cheese dumplings) soup, Viennese veal schnitzel with roast potatoes and “Moosbeernocken” (blueberry pancakes). “Erdäpfelblattl’n” (fried potato dough) can be eaten with sauerkraut or with cranberries and powdered sugar.

We also spoil you with an entrecote from local pasture ox, with excellent prime boiled beef or brook trout from local waters. Our typical Tyrolean cuisine is complemented by Italian delights and invites to indulge.

To go with these dishes, we offer a large selection of excellent wines from renowned vintners from the most important Austrian, Italian and American wine growing areas. The private VINORIBIS winery is also related to the large Ribis family.  It offers an exciting number of about 400 wines with focus on Austrian produce. But also on an international level, wine enthusiasts can make new discoveries.

We hope that you spend some nice hours here with excellent food and wines.
